Basic Tile Digging Engine [GMS1.4]
A very basic system for tile-based dirt movement as seen in early 80s arcade games such as Dig Dug and Mr. Do!; noticed there were no real implementations of this for any game engine, so I decided to put together this very rudimentary version, as well as some basic enemy AI, in GameMaker.
Originally made for GMS1.4 but should also work in GMS2 (and the code is basic enough that it could be reasonably be implemented in earlier versions).
Feel free to use and modify this code for your own projects.
